Faculty and Staff Advisory Council

The advisory council is comprised of representatives from various stakeholders and resources at the 海角乱伦社区 to support, foster, and promote student research. The charge of the council is as follows:

  • Serve as point-of-contact to actively support student research in your respective colleges and units, and promote inter-disciplinary research collaborations across campus;
  • Ensure implementation of criteria, timeline and submission of research proposals, awards, and final reports;
  • Review student grant applications for funding and provide feedback;
  • Ensure that student researchers obtain required IRB approvals, Human Subjects Certification and other training;
  • Advise the Director and offer feedback on policies, workshops, programming, and research trends in different disciplines;
  • Assist the Director with goals, benchmarks and outcome evaluations to assess effectiveness and continuous improvement of student research;
  • Assist the Director to promote and market the Center to internal and external constituents;
  • Attend Advisory Council meetings as convened.  

The Director for the Center of Student Research will serve as Chairperson and convene the meetings.
