_ The 海角乱伦社区 Percussion Ensemble has been selected to perform at the 2024 Percussive Arts Society International Convention that recently wrapped up in Indianapolis, Ind., at the Indianapolis Convention Center.
_The band program at the 海角乱伦社区 has received a resolution from the Alabama State Senate recognizing its 75th anniversary. The UNA Band also received a commendation from Alabama Gov. Kay Ivey recognizing the anniversary.
__ _ National First-Gen Day is an opportunity to raise awareness of the strengths of first-generation college students, faculty, and staff as well as a way to support, elevate, and increate the visibility of being first-generation on campus. The 海角乱伦社区 will celebrate its first-generation community on Nov. 7 from 2-4 p.m. at Collier Library.
_The Department of Foreign Languages at the 海角乱伦社区 will celebrate National French Week through Nov. 12 with a variety of campus-based cultural events, including Croissants with the French Club on Thursday, Nov. 7, at 11:30 a.m. on the lawn of Wesleyan Hall.
__ _ The 海角乱伦社区 has been selected to be part of the 2024-25 Scholars Transforming Through Research (STR) Program through the Council on Undergraduate Research (CUR). Only 63 teams from across the United States have been selected for this competitive, application-based professional development opportunity for teams that include a campus representative and one to three undergraduate students.
Just one year since the launch of the $100 million Shine On, Gold Comprehensive Campaign for the 海角乱伦社区, and already the goal is well within sight as more than $75 million has been raised.

This Saturday, the 海角乱伦社区 Marching Band, the Marching Pride of North Alabama, was selected to perform in the 2025 Macy鈥檚 Thanksgiving Day Parade庐, representing the State of Alabama. This will mark the first Parade appearance by the UNA Marching Band. The Marching Pride of North Alabama will join the holiday march to the call of 鈥淟et鈥檚 Have a Parade鈩,鈥 the iconic phrase that has signaled the start of every Macy鈥檚 Thanksgiving Day parade since 1924.
