What is CPR2?
UNA Math and Computer Science Principal Investigators were awarded an NSF STEM+C k12 grant for the CPR2 project. This project tests a model developed by both UNA Math and Computer Science faculty to teach mathematical reasoning through computer programming. This award is for a study of middle school math teachers and their students. This website is part of the required dissemination of the CPR2 project and is maintained and updated by NSF paid student workers. Through support from an NSF STEM+C award, the CPR2 Team at UNA is developing curricula that uses computer programming activities to motivate and define general expressions so students learn to reason abstractly.
