Global Assessment Certificate Program

The UNA Office of International Affairs is pleased to accept the Global Assessment Certificate Program (GAC) from ACT Education Solutions. GAC students entering UNA as international transfer students must meet the following requirements:

 1.  English Proficiency

  • iBT TOEFL 61 or IELTS 5.5 or TOEIC 600
  • Students without a passing IELTS/TOEFL/TOEIC will be required to take the English Placement Test upon arrival. If students test out of the placement test, they will be able to start academic study immediately.
  • ESL courses may be required depending on the ESL English Placement Test results.

 2.  Eligibility to Earn UNA Credits

  • GAC Graduation Certificate
  • 2.0 overall or average C in reference to U.S. Grade Point Average

 3.  GAC graduates with an ACT score of 25 or above may be eligible for academic excellence scholarship on a competitive basis.
