How many dual enrollment hours can I transfer in before being considered a “transfer student” as an incoming freshman?
Incoming freshmen can bring in any amount of dual enrollment and still be considered for freshmen scholarships.
How do I transfer my dual enrollment credit from a community college to UNA?
Request an official transcript from your dual enrollment institution to be sent to ugalert@una.edu. The Office of the Registrar will evaluate course credit based on the course description to be applied as a direct equivalent, a major/minor elective, a core course, or a general elective. Students can review all course credit equivalence/transfer information .
How can I schedule a tour?
Campus tours are scheduled online via your MyUNA account. You can view available dates and event registrations online at una.edu/visit, or call the Office of Admissions at 256-765-4608.
How will my tour reservation be confirmed?
You will receive an email with parking information and check-in details upon completion of your registration.
Can I change the date or time of my tour?
Yes, you can call the Office of Admissions at 256-765-4608 or email admissions@una.edu to request an adjustment or update to your tour reservation.
What should I wear for my tour?
Weather-appropriate attire is recommended as tours take place rain or shine. Attire is casual, and we encourage comfortable footwear for your walking tour of campus.

How long do tours last?
A campus tour consists of an admissions presentation as well as a 1 hour and 30 minute walking tour led by our LaGrange Ambassadors. Please plan to be on campus for about 2 hours.
What happens if it is raining on my tour day?
Campus Tours still proceed during rain or shine as long as long as there is not lightning or thunder in the area. Please be sure to wear weather appropriate attire!
